School Day
Waking up at seven in the morning as usual and after eating a breakfast of fried potato, egg, and sausage with a glass of fresh orange juice, I quickly get dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans, a t-shirt, and a light sweatshirt. Fifteen minutes to eight, I grab my backpack and the car key, locking the house door and driving to school, hoping to escape the morning school traffic. School starts at eight fifteen; four periods a day with a thirty-minute lunch break at noon, I go through the slow day, watching the clock and longing for the class to end. After school, I hang out with my friends at the sandwich shop, discussing the newest trends in fashion and in literature. Finally home, I turn on the TV, eat a brief dinner, and sit down to finish my homework and to check my emails and Facebook messages. Then, I turn off the light and close my eyes, waiting for sleep to take over.

就像写日记一样，记录美国学生的生活，只不过要注意的是两点：一是写的是美国学生的一天，二是用英语写而不是中文
